These are the 3 additional ways for GetStudentsJapan.com to help you further verify your profile. If you are able to verify the processing of the following documents by sending copies of them to GSJ then we will be able to further verify your profile. Your profile will be rated at these different levels for all potential clients to help them make a further educated choice in the person who right for them or their business.
Proof of Education - To add this verification to your profile, please send GSJ copies of any of your diplomas, final year transcripts or certificate of course completion from any high school, college, graduate school or ELT training school.
- This verification is recommended for all members of GSJ with the exception of Speaking Partners and Translators.
Proof of Work/Experience - To add this verification to your profile, please send GSJ a signed copy of a letter of recommendation from your previous language school employer, a copy of any receipt of payment from your current language school, tax forms or any other documents from past or current employers or note that proves your experience and knowledge in the sector or anything related that seems applicable.
- This is a recommended for Language Teachers, Business Teachers and Corporate Trainers.
Proof of Legal Residency
- This is perhaps the most important verification feature to certify that you are a contracted member of GetStudentsJapan.com. This is a requirement to become a Corporate Trainer. To prove your legal residency GSJ requires 2 things from you:
- A copy of your Certificate of Alien Registration Card (your Gaijin Card). We must see clear copies of the front and backside of your Alien Registration Card. Please make sure that the card has been updated and the new date is written on the back if the "Period of Stay" on the front of the card has expired. Scanned images or clear viewable photos taken with your mobile phone or another camera is acceptable. This proves without a doubt to all individuals and/or businesses that you legally reside in Japan.
- You must download, print, sign and send GSJ a copy of the GSJ Teacher Contract. This will show to all individuals and/or business owners that you have an official signed contract on file at GetStudentsJapan.com.
